We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our design engineers on new development projects and to improve the current product offering. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will be responsible for: - Assisting with the prototype build of equipment for new development projects - Assisting with the design and implementation of product improvements - Assisting with the validation and testing process for new development or improvement projects - Using SolidWorks to design, layout, or modify models of components and assemblies - Ensure that parts for designs are ordered using requisition or customer order process - Working with drafting department to create part drawings consistent with company standards - Building equipment for special projects and verifying its operation matches the design goals - Working in a manner that is in accordance with company safety policies
