What We're Working Toward

When Tulsa's top employers help design the experience, students don't just get a summer job — they get a head start on a career.

At the heart of every Advisory Board decision is a simple commitment: ensuring Tulsa's early-career talent have access to internship experiences that are meaningful, well-matched, and worth showing up for — leading to a sense of belonging in Tulsa, higher intern-to-full-time conversion, and a growing awareness of Campus Tulsa's impact across the region.

Employer voices are improving the internship experience in Tulsa.

The Campus Tulsa Advisory Board launched in 2026 as a dedicated group of employer voices helping guide our summer programming. With inaugural 13 members representing organizations spanning all sizes and diverse industries— the board ensures that internship experiences are grounded in what employers actually need and what students actually gain.

How Board Members Contribute

Campus Tulsa Advisory Board members are active contributors — professionals from local participating employers. Members meet once each quarter in sessions designed to move the program forward with purpose.

1

Share Industry Perspective

Board members bring firsthand knowledge of what today's employers need, grounding every programming decision in real workforce-focused insight.
2

Shape Internship Programming

Through direct feedback and collaborative strategic decisions, board members influence how each summer cohort is designed,  to develop meaningful and engaging experiences.
3

Champion Early-Career Talent

Board members advocate for Tulsa's next generation by helping bridge the gap between what young professionals bring and what the workforce expects.
4

Strengthen and support the local ecosystem

By lending their voice, network, and expertise, board members help  build, attract, and retain talent across the region's business community.

Employer voices

The BOK Financial internship experience is structured to provide hands-on exposure to the financial services industry through meaningful, project-based work. Interns gain real-world insight into our business, culture, and clients through direct collaboration with experienced professionals. This structure builds a strong early-career talent pipeline while developing future full-time hires who are prepared to contribute from day one.
